Thursday, September 24, 2015: Hi Sam. I just got back from Mexico not long ago. The big news from this meeting is in regards to planning and executing an Amber Alert for you. An Amber Alert is a system that broadcasts abductions. It’s mostly used for kids. In fact it was named after a little girl in the United States who was abducted and found murdered a short time later. In the United States, the Amber Alerts go out by state and are broadcast via cell phones and electronic highway signs. From the sounds of it, Mexico’s system is much more involved. We were going to use this last year, however when we found you it seems like a no-brainer that the arrest warrants would immediately follow.

One of the attorney’s handling the criminal case against Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel), introduced me to a guy who worked to bring the Amber Alert system to the federal level in Mexico. This guy worked with another parent with a similar story to ours in Tijuana just a few weeks ago. The story was aired nationally in Mexico and the very next morning, throngs of media were camped out in the court building you know so well, to interview the judge on the story. People like Adriana do not like the bright light on them for obvious reasons. When the spotlight is too much, rather than do the right thing, Adriana runs and hides. Which is exactly what she is doing right now. Wish us luck. I LOVE YOU SAM!
