Sunday, December 20, 2009: Hi Sam! I miss you so much! I did not sleep well last night thinking about Christmas. It sickens me that I will miss Christmas with you again. Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) wanted to make a deal with me to swap New Year’s in lieu of Christmas. I mentioned that normally what she is asking would not be a big deal. But because I have missed so much with you already this past 14-months that it would mean a lot to stick to the original plan we made for Christmas.
So we talked about New Year’s. Mind you she originally would not let us spend Christmas together because of her family was coming to visit. Then she has the nerve to ask if she can spend New Year’s with us! I am not kidding. So, it’s not OK to spend Christmas with my daughter yet its OK to ask if she can spend New Year’s with us? Of course Adriana was mad at me when I told her “no” and hurled insults at me as she usually does when she does not get what she wants.
Here I am at home, wishing I could be down there with you. I had finally gotten around to listening to all 34 voice mails on my cell phone. Oddly enough in one of the messages Adriana left me almost a month ago to the day. In it she tells me “how excited she was to have you spend Christmas with me and was happy we could be together for the holiday”. A perfect example of Adriana saying one thing and doing the exact opposite. I mentioned it to her and of course she got defensive about it. I hope to see you soon Sam! I love you so much!
