Thursday, December 31, 2009: It’s almost 2010. It cannot come soon enough as far as I am concerned. What a challenging year. If 2010 is anything like today, it is going to be a great year. We had an amazing last day of business. Easily the best day we have had in quite some time. This was a year of overcoming amazing challenges. January 1st is just another day. However there is an emotional attachment to change especially when so many people have had such a hard go of things. In times like these just a change in the calendar year brings new hope and optimism. Someone asked me earlier today how/when the effort was going to bring this situation with Samantha to a peaceful conclusion. Obviously I could not answer that with a specific date however, we accomplished a lot this last 14-months when I look back on it.
Happy New Year Sam! Dad loves you so much! I cannot imagine my life without you! I will be back tomorrow to write more about some of the goals I set for 2010 and beyond. MANY KISSES MY PRINCESS! I LOVE YOU!
