Wednesday, November 18, 2009: Hi Sam! How is my beautiful Princess? I miss you so much Sam. Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) sent me some recent pictures of you. One picture in particular makes me melt every time I see it. In fact it is now the picture I see every time I use my cell phone. I am at Starbucks waiting to have coffee with a friend. He lives in Hawaii but is in California visiting family. I had a conversation with Chris the other day. I needed a little attitude adjustment and Chris is the guy to give it to me. I let the 1-year mark of your abduction get the best of me for awhile. Chris reminded me about the things I need to stay focused on and that there opportunities/lessons learned in everything – even with this situation. Basically I have to keep in mind that Adriana is going to keep playing her games. I should not take that personally; she’s been doing that for years. For now Adriana is playing nice because she thinks there is money in it for her. What’s interesting is that while she tells me how she can’t pay her bills, she’s planning a trip for the three of you to Cabo next week. What!?!?!? Of course I find the timing odd because this came up knowing I want to spend Thanksgiving with you next Thursday. I will know more in the next few days what her intentions really are.
