Wednesday, November 12, 2008: Hi Sweetheart! With all the chaos of these last couple days, I have no idea how I had my wits about me enough to start keeping a journal of this ordeal. US State Department told me what I was up against and I felt it was important to capture the details as they happen. Someday I will have to explain all of this to you because Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) is incapable of telling the truth about anything. I am not going to change one word of this no matter how raw it may be sometimes. I cannot stop thinking about you. I miss your little Samy hugs you give me. Seeing your big beautiful brown eyes and that beaming smile as you run to me. “PAPA, PAPA!”
This has been the most difficult 2-days in my entire life. I am sitting outside the lawyer’s office. I don’t know how else to say this: on Monday, Adriana and Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) took you from me without telling me. I came home from another long day and when I got home the house was empty. They stole everything. I have not been able to sleep. I have not been able to eat either. I lost my voice talking to all the people trying to help find you. You would laugh because I sound like Cookie Monster with a cold. My heart is in so much pain. I cry a lot. I have never been hurt like this in my entire life. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MY PRINCESS! Sweetheart, Daddy is doing everything I can. Please don’t forget me!
There are a lot of people helping me look for you. There are so many people who love you and are doing everything we can. I write this journal for you Samy. You have brought so much joy into people’s lives. It’s crazy for me to think that another human being can take you away from me. I never thought in a million years this would happen.
When I came home and found you missing, my heart fell to the floor. I am staying strong for YOU! The police helped me get in touch with the US Consulate. The Consulate referred me to the lawyers I am with now, they are considered to be among the best in Mexico. WE ARE COMING SAM! WE ARE COMING!
