Wednesday, April 13, 2011: Hi Beautiful! I am on an airplane back home from a business trip to Atlanta. It’s been about 15-years since I have been there. It’s changed quite a bit. Cool city. Last night I was in the hotel thinking about how parents can recover from a life changing event that involves their children. I don’t know if I will ever be the same after November 10, 2008. In some ways that is good and in a lot of other ways that day left such an empty void inside me that I often question everything I thought was good in the world. Example: I used to trust Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) with my life. Now I can’t trust her to take out the garbage. Perhaps it’s my own insecurities these last few years trying to figure out how a mother of two beautiful kids can be completely irrational for so long. Never mind the purple hair.
All’s I know for sure is that I miss you Sam. Saturday cannot come fast enough. I love that you have an interest in France and the French language through your ballet classes. We were speaking a little French to each other Saturday. That’s one thing we have that Adriana does not. Jet’eme Samantha, Jet’eme!
