Thursday, September 1, 2011: Hi Sam! It was so nice to hear your voice this morning. You made my day! I miss you so much Beautiful! I was eating breakfast and caught a segment on the news. The story they were running was about the kids who lost their Dad’s on 9/11. I can’t believe it has almost been 10-years since that horrible day. I could not help but watch the story about these kids, all of whom were not even born at the time that 9/11 happened. These kids never met their Dad’s. All of those kids found ways to connect with their Dad’s these last 10-years. I could not hold the tears back. This story reminded me how much I have missed in your life since November 10, 2008. I try not to dwell on what I have missed too much. Rarely do left behind parents in my position have the opportunity I have been given. I cherish every moment. You are always in my heart Sam. Always.

So, I was talking with Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) mentioned that you were the one who actually called me! How cool is that??? When I answered I immediately heard your voice. So I said, “Good Morning Sam!”. Somehow Adriana took that personally. Why I have no idea. All’s I know is that The Farm (AKA your house) now has a couple of pigs to join the cats, fish, chickens, fighting hens, birds, and dogs.

Pigs. Alrighty.

Adriana inquired about the picture she drew for us. She saw you and I were having a great time drawing each other pictures and decided to join the fray drawing a montage of the good moments when we were together. It was nice but if recent history is any indication, nothing will come of the good will. I keep telling her that while talking is always good, without action its meaningless. Compromise gives way to reconciliation, not before. So…

Saturday is almost here! I cannot wait to see you Sweetie. I LOVE YOU SAM!
