Monday, April 23, 2012: Good Morning Beautiful! I love the rain. Southern California is always beautiful. The natives complain the 40-days a year it rains here. I love it. OK, I did not write to give you a weather report. It’s been 10-days and Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) has not made any mention of the conversation I had with Isaias Palomeque (AKA Isaias Uzziel Palomeque, Isaias Palomeque Vergara, Project Manager at DJO Global), meaning it went in one ear and out the other like everyone else who has tried to get through to her.
Adriana extended an invite for me to come to an open house of sorts for your ballet. Of course its tomorrow and unfortunately I have a dentist appointment I am long overdue for. I took the opportunity to assert myself into your birthday by suggesting I will take the day off to be with you on your birthday instead. Adriana is stewing about this right now. I know it.
Adriana tried to tell me last week that you did not want a party for your birthday this year. I don’t know how much of that is true. I read it to mean that she has no money to throw you a party, which is fine. She’s too stubborn to ask me to help out like I have done the last couple years. She does not want me spending time with you as it is. She further exposes herself to the person she really is by denying you time with your Dad on your own birthday.
As my luck would have it, as I write this post Adriana called three times. She proceeds to tell me she’s planning a vacation with you for your birthday. Sam, what did I tell you, I know Adriana better than anyone. I know her better than she even knows herself. I knew Adriana was stewing about your birthday because those calls came at 7:30 this morning. She never up that early let alone calls anyone at that time. Of course not one word about wanting to settle this once and for all.
Don’t worry Sam I am not sweating it. I was fully expecting this a month ago. I had a backup plan all along Beautiful and we will have our own party when I see you on Cinco de Mayo. I LOVE YOU MY PRINCESS!
