3-years, 6-months, 16-days into Samantha’s abduction

Jiu Jitsu World Championships, Mexicali, Supreme Court

Saturday, May 26, 2012: Good Morning Sam. Bad news. I am not able to make it down today. Even though I am a grown man, the thought of missing you humbles me very quickly. The Jiu Jitsu World Championships are next week. I have been working with people who are competing and getting ready. Yesterday I had an accident training with them and separated my shoulder in 3 places. I thought I could ice it and it would be OK this morning but after all the adrenaline wore off, the reality set in that something is really wrong with it.

So, I am on the shelf the next few days with out a doubt. It’s one of those things where I have to have a specialist look at it. It should not typically be a problem for us except I only get to see you 6-hours a week. And while I have been promised that the Supreme Court in Mexicali will have a decision any day, they are already 8-months into what should have been an easy decision for them to make. I LOVE YOU SAM!
