Saturday, December 1, 2012: It’s the day of your big ballet recital! It was a beautiful recital Sam. It’s bittersweet for me. On one hand I am so proud of you. To see how much you love ballet and to see how you have progressed with it all these years has been amazing. On the other hand, I have not been able to share these moments with anyone. I tried to take pictures from this new camera phone I have. They did not turn out very good. The videos I have from your recital turned out great. What I am especially proud of is that you were very sick today. Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) wanted to keep you home to rest and not go to the recital. You told her there was no way you were missing that recital, that you put too much hard work into the recital to let an illness get in the way. You are only 6-years old and you already understand one of life’s important lessons. I LOVE YOU SAM!
