Sunday, March 31, 2013: Happy Easter Sam! It was 5-years since we last spent an Easter together. I remember it well. We had brunch together. You had your little Easter dress on. For some reason you were enamored with the little coffee creamers on the table. The creamers that came in those little white cups. We were playing with them even as we ate our food. I wonder if you remember that. I am guessing you may remember it given the trip down memory lane we took yesterday. I mentioned to you that I was watching movies of you when we were all together. You were 2-years old at the time. I have video of you eating Littleman’s food and giggling when you got caught. I have video of you finding my guitar and playing it. You remembered those things. In fact you picked up right where we left off in each of those events, remembering what you were doing before and after those things. It was nice to share that with you.

Until you start reading this, you have had no idea what was really going on. You have had no idea why I have not been around or why all the bizarre behavior from Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) and her family. To you this was normal. Because of all this, talking about the last movie you saw is a challenge. I don’t know what to do sometimes. I am doing the best I can in the most hostile of environments imaginable. So we continue to plug away.

It looks like Adriana had a friend move into the house with you. She’s been there about a month now. Her own family doesn’t want her, so why not move in with the other people who abducted you. Awesome! Isaias Palomeque (AKA Isaias Uzziel Palomeque, Isaias Palomeque Vergara, Project Manager at DJO Global) is in there somewhere too. That makes all 4-people responsible for your abduction under the same roof. Amazing.

Yesterday morning started out like every other Saturday, one of the guards sitting and watching what I do. Even if it’s just me staring at the wall waiting for you. Adriana and this friend of hers make a good pair because they are both extremely insecure and narcissistic. This is the same person who was equally responsible for having me ambushed and thrown in La Mesa Prison a couple years ago. It looks like karma is handing out its own justice at present.

Once you came downstairs, it was more of the same. Constantly interrupted by Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) as we tried to go about our time together. A steady diet of Lalaloopsy’s in the living room, followed by Lalaloopsy’s on the back patio. The topic of Easter came up. Along with the baby Lalaloopsy’s, I brought an Easter egg filled with Wonka candies. Mostly Nerds, your favorite. You asked me if I was going to be with you for Easter this year. In order to keep the brave face Sam, I had to change the subject because we both know why I would not be spending Easter with you.

That’s when the conversation quickly turned into our own Easter egg hunt. Instead of eggs, you hid Easter candy for me to find. It was so adorable! And let’s not forget you asking Maria Guadalupe several times to go to the park and every time she found a way to turn down your request until she ran out of excuses. So finally, we were able to get some time away from that house and to a park. A park near the home we first found you after your abduction. We climbed trees, played Lalaloopsy and in a bit of a sad moment lost EnFuegolita’s pet Chili. Or so we thought. After looking for the lost Chili for a good hour, we surmised that a couple of girls playing in the park may have found it and had taken it not knowing it belonged to you. I promised I would buy you another Chili and off to eat fish tacos we went. To everyone’s surprise, as you bucked up your seat belt, there was Chili! Chili never got out of the car! Crisis averted.

Our happy moments turned sad pretty quickly as I was forced to leave you. After all this time it still does not get any easier to leave you Sam. It’s not something I will ever get used to. The good news is that you are on Spring Break this week. I will call you and see if we can spend some time on the phone or better yet, Skype. KISSES SAM! DADDY LOVES YOU!!!
