Monday, April 1, 2013: Hi Sam! I’m sitting in infamous Los Angeles traffic. If you knew LA this would not be a surprise. Today is different. Today was the Dodgers home & season opener against the World Series Champs, San Francisco Giants. Because of the high expectations placed on the Dodgers this year and the fact they are playing their arch rivals in the Giants, it feels like a playoff game and not a season opener. 55,000 people. Beautiful spring day and a Dodger 4-0 win. I wish you were here. I miss you so much Sam. I saw a lot of kids at the game. I long to share this with you. Not far from Dodger Stadium is Olvera Street. The best and most authentic Mexican food out side of Mexico is in this part of town. Before and after the game it’s tradition to grab a bite there. You would love it. As we were walking into the stadium, we met the comedian, George Lopez. He’s extremely funny. He could not have been cooler. Got a picture of him for you. KISSES BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE YOU!
