Thursday, July 25, 2013: Sometimes it’s easy to think you are the one going crazy when dealing with people who are so reckless with their lives. Is this really the new normal? Then out of nowhere the absolution comes that you are indeed on the right path. I had one of those events this evening. I was at a dinner event for a friend’s birthday. At this dinner was a relative of my friend who has a 2-year old daughter. I have met the little girl a couple times before tonight. I had no idea I made an impression on her at such a young age. Apparently I did. As soon as she saw me, her face lit up. She yelled out my name and ran to me. Everyone took notice too. The little girl climbed up onto my lap and chatted away, as only little girls can. She even shared her food with me. She reminds me a lot of you Sam. She has your energy. She has your beautiful smile.
Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) and Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) have been saying a lot of bad things about me to you Sam. There is nothing I can do about that. They have been poisoning you against me for the last 4 1/2+ years. There is a term for this. What she is doing to you post-abduction, is called Parental Alienation. She is angry and embarrassed that she is getting exposed for what she has done and is taking it out on you. There are a differing school’s of thought as to why Adriana is dragging this out for as long as she has. None of them really matter because my fighting for you is not about Adriana, although she would like to think it is. It’s about you Sam. Always has been.
Everyone knows it would be so much easier to just do the right thing and come to a permanent arrangement until you turn 18. Adriana loves the drama too much to foster healthy relationships with anyone let alone her own daughter. My absolution comes when other parents and perfect strangers tell me what a great Dad I am after seeing me around kids or just reading about all the atrocities that we have had to endure. I always say the same thing, that all parents should be there for their kids no matter what. And, when they ever meet you they will know in a split second why I have been fighting so hard.
KISSES BEAUTIFUL! DAD LOVES YOU!
