Monday, November 11, 2013: Hi Sam. How are you beautiful? Today is Veteran’s Day in the United States. It’s a day where we remember all those men and women who served in our military to allow us the freedoms we have. It’s a day of reflection no doubt.

So, I survived the 5-year anniversary. I did not write much yesterday. My mind was in a million places as it usually has been these last 5-years. Being at the beach all day was exactly what I needed. I did not have to talk to anyone or do anything. I just sat there watching the waves rhythmically crash on the shoreline while kids played with their parents. It’s a site I have not gotten used to for obvious reasons. I often wonder if those parents take their kids for granted in situations like that. Maybe not take them for granted, but rather the time they spend with their kids.

A while ago I met another father whose son was taken from him by the mother and into Mexico. The left behind Dad’s name is Steve Fenton. Steve wrote a book about his experiences and from what I understand Hollywood is writing the screenplay to his story now. The book is intense. I read it in 1-day. Like David Goldman’s book, I could not put it down. It’s amazing to me that in 20-years all of these stories are the same. Nothing new has been figured out to fix parental child abductions. Nothing.

Our case had dragged on for 5-years. The reality is that we could have figured out a peaceful resolution to this situation without causing you any harm. We have been offering that to Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) for years. She simply refuses.

Back to the book. As Steve went to Xalapa to find his son, he met multiple women there that flat out told him that there were a lot of women there who did the same thing with their kids and could care less. That was shocking to read. I won’t spoil the ending should you choose to read the book yourself. There is a good chance you could meet Steve someday. I LOVE YOU SAM! KISSES!
