Sunday, December 22, 2013: Hi Beautiful! It was so amazing to see you yesterday! I miss you so much. Santa came early which helped keep the drama at bay for the day. The Notary came with us in lieu of the court officials because they are on vacation. I introduced you to him as “my beautiful daughter Samantha” Your eyes lit up like a Christmas tree hearing that.
So, when we first get to the house we notice the cars are gone just like last week. The Notary notices the electric was shut off in the house too. It had the seal on the meter that indicates Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) or Isaias Palomeque (AKA Isaias Uzziel Palomeque, Isaias Palomeque Vergara, Project Manager at DJO Global) did not pay the bill. When I asked her about it she tells me there is a problem with the electricity in the neighborhood, which we know is a lie. But OK.
When we first arrived, the Notary hears voices inside. They were not alerted by security that we were coming. Security let us right through the gate. When I knocked on the door Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) and Adriana answered, surprised to see us. The Notary introduced himself and Maria Guadalupe told him he could not come in the house. Adriana over ruled her and actually allowed him in the house after I insisted the front door must stay open and The Notary stays right in front. Before you came downstairs, Maria Guadalupe told The Notary “no pictures, no video”. Maria Guadalupe does not tell me how to spend time with my own daughter. I took pictures and over 40-minutes of video.
You were so excited to see me! I was equally excited. Nervous in-fact as we got to the house. You were surprised that Santa came early. You loved your gifts. We dove right in with the Lollaloopsy toys. When I originally tried to take video and pictures, you were a little shy, as if to suggest you did not want to make Adriana or Maria Guadalupe angry by taking pictures with me. So, I had an idea. You and I were going to film a Lollaloopsy cartoon. This gave me full access to video us however we chose. You loved the idea and even took control of the camera for a while. As we were playing, you sat in front of me as I played with your hair. You mentioned how you were going to have it cut off to donate to kids that are battling cancer. I absolutely melted. I know how long it took you to grow your hair. I know how much you love your long hair. I even told you a story about how your long hair reminded me of my sister who had hair like yours when she was younger. I am so proud of you for thinking of others, especially those who are facing life-threatening illness. You have always been that way Sam. Always giving.
Along the way, Adriana made everyone breakfast. Even me. She was not originally going to include me until YOU asked her to. As Adriana served breakfast, that was when I asked her about the electricity. She told me something was going on with the power in the neighborhood, which we knew was a lie. I told her I knew the real reason and that perhaps it was time to stop filing “secret” court petitions behind my back and and work together so she would not have issues with her bills. I did show gratitude for the breakfast and coffee as she just walked away without commenting other than to say how “happy” she was. Alrighty.
Unfortunately the Notary had another appointment and we were only there until 1:00. He sat in the kitchen the whole time with Adriana, Maria Guadalupe and Axel Alvarez Coronel (AKA Axel Coronel) talking to them the whole time. I don’t know what they were talking about because everyone was talking quietly. I did not care because whatever the Notary was doing, it kept everyone from interfering with us. As it was time to go, you were sad. As was I. I told you we will be back next week and that the Magic Kings had surprises in store for you. You thanked the Notary for coming and off we went.
Quick observation. The Notary said he had a headache from listening to Adriana, Maria Guadalupe and Axel chirping in his ear for that long. He understood how this situation has taken as long as it has after he shared with me the conversations they were having with him, not knowing he knew the whole story already. As a gesture of good will, I did offer to help Adriana pay the delinquent electric bill for your sake Sam and reminded her that she left a lot of support money in court just to try and prove her point with this “secret” petition she filed behind my back. At the end of the day, that negative effort did not seem to make much sense.
That does not take away from the amazing time we did have Sam, even if it was for 3-short hours. I LOVE YOU SAM!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS.
