Wednesday, March 19, 2014: Hi Beautiful. How are you? I miss you Sam! I wish I could just hear your voice right now. As far as I know we still have the appointment with the court official to come see you on Saturday. I can’t wait! I talked to Lourdes today. We have a hearing on May 14th in front of the 2nd Civil Court judge regarding the petition Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) filed behind our backs. This will be an interesting day because both Adriana and I will be on the stand to testify. FINALLY! Lourdes even went as far as to subpoena Coppel and Elektra because they have security camera footage of Adriana picking up the money at their various stores. Yes, the money Adriana claims she never got from me. These are two stores Adriana frequented to take the Money Gram’s I sent her. Those stores have the security video that shows Adriana picking up the money she says I never sent her. Both Coppel and Elektra are fully on board with helping us. We certainly appreciate their cooperation. It’s sad we actually have to do all this. Adriana left us no choice and as a result she is in for a very long day. Unless, of course, she comes to her senses and wants to someone find a resolution to all this.
Lourdes also mentioned that she ran into Adriana in court on Friday. Get this, she was there picking up the money I send to support you while all this is going on. The court has cameras too. Guess what? They are going to testify against Adriana too. Knowing how bad this looks for Adriana, Lourdes tried to throw her another olive branch and had a mother-to-mother chat with her. The message was simple: cease making life so difficult for herself, for you and for me and to think about the best interests of you. Which is having both parents in your life. She added that she should remember how we had you in the first place and to remember the good our relationship had in it. Who knows if that resonated with Adriana or not. I appreciated Lourdes looking out for us on a whim like that. It goes to show that the last thing we want is for Adriana to end up in jail. It’s incredibly sad that message has fallen on deaf ears for so long.
In the meantime, we are waiting for the courts to request to DIF to help with the psychological exams for all of us. Lourdes thinks this is a good move in the end because it’s not so much trying to show how unstable Adriana is, but more importantly how does me not being in your life affect you. I will see you in a couple of days Beautiful! I LOVE YOU SAM!
