Play Doh

Saturday, April 19, 2014: Good morning Beautiful. It’s a sad morning because today was the planned day where I knew the court official was not going to be able join us. I wonder if you got my subtle messages that we tried to see you last week. I left the soccer ball I bought you in front of the door and drew a picture of “Mat” on the window of one of the cars. The court official mentioned he will be available the 26th and possibly for your birthday. The weekend of your birthday is a holiday in Mexico. Even if the court official can’t make it for your birthday, I will try for the Notary even though it makes no financial sense to do so. Your birthday means the world to me. Hopefully things will work out May 3rd.

On another note, I am sad to report I had to throw the homemade Play Doh in the garbage. I should have known. Since we made the Play Doh with natural ingredients: water, salt, flour and food coloring – this is more or less an edible item thus open to spoiling. Which it did. Maybe you already knew that. I kept the Play Doh in the bag you gave me and one morning I woke up and went into my office, and wouldn’t you know it, mold was growing in the bag. No big deal I took pictures before it went bad. We can make more. I would be honored to do so and make a gigantic mess in the process. I LOVE YOU SAM!!! MANY KISSES!
