Sunday, June 14, 2015: Hi Beautiful. So, I was just doing my regular food shopping today and ran across a guy who was with his 2 daughters. They could not have been older than 3 or 4 years old. He was pushing one in one stroller with one arm stretched out in front of him while pulling the other stroller with the other arm behind him. It was clear his 2 little girls were challenged, having to breathe with portable respirators. To see this man with his daughters was absolutely beautiful. So, I’m half way to the produce section and I lost it. My eyes welled up with tears and my heart was so heavy emotionally. Here is this guy and his 2 little girls. They love being with their Dad. You can see it in their eyes. I have a perfectly healthy daughter that I have not seen in over 10 months, going through this hell for the last 6+ years. And here is this guy with his 2 little girls on respirators and they were having the time of their lives.

Pinche Vida! What I would not give to spend time with you right now Sam.

As my luck would have it, the guy sees me and asked me if I was OK. I told him I’m a Dad to a little girl too and seeing him with his 2 girls was absolutely beautiful. He started tearing up as he thanked me. The 2 girls with these big old smiles and without a care in the world. Whatever it was that ailed them, was not a bother to them. It made my day seeing all that.

A couple days ago I ran into Jorge in Lourdes’ office. He told me we may finally be getting close to getting those arrest warrants. Finally. Apparently the judge has 1 case in front of ours to dispose of and she promises she will get to it right after. Fingers crossed Sam. I LOVE YOU!
