Wednesday, July 13, 2016: Hi Sam. I wish I was writing to tell you I was coming to Irapuato. It did not work out for us this time. We shall see what happens in a couple weeks. We did everything we could to pull this off Sam, I am sorry.
Earlier today I watched a TV show about Jaycee Dugard. Jaycee was abducted from a stranger on her way to school when she was 11-years old and spent 18-years in captivity before she was rescued. Her story is absolutely amazing. I will spare you all the bad details. You can read about them if you feel like Googling her name. The amazing part is her attitude and her outlook on life. She was determined to survive for as long as it took. It’s been several years since she has been a free woman and what she has done with her time since has changed a lot of lives….for the better.
The inspiration from Jaycee’s story could not have come at a better time.
Lately, I have been taking the longer view of this situation. You are 10-years old Sam. I have been fighting this situation for almost 8 years. I have only seen you for a total of 3 minutes in the last 2 years. If I had a dollar for every time someone said “we are so close to ending this situation”, I would have $8 million in the bank. I want to vomit every time someone tells me this. Besides, what difference does it make? Nobody wins here Sam. Nobody wins. You and I will never get back the time we lost. Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) is going back to jail. This time she’s going to take up residence there for a while. Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) will be right behind her. If Danny Howitt (AKA Daniel Duncan Howitt, Elizabeth Farquhar Duncan, Kenneth Duncan) continues down this path, he will join them.
It’s interesting reading the comments Danny and Adriana post on the site because they like to suggest I am still after Adriana. That I am obsessed with her. Typical sociopathic and narcissistic thinking. It’s all about them. They cannot wrap their heads around the fact I am your real Dad and that I take my responsibilities as such very seriously. Shitty parents could never bring themselves to understand. BUT, when a father is willing to take a bullet for his kid(s), that is a man who cannot be beaten. That’s why this is so frustrating for them.
DIF actually suggested Adriana is doing all of this because she wants me to rescue her from herself. As they have read more of the court files, DIF is also realizing that I have been trying to do just that since 2005. Only this time, even keeping Adriana out of jail seems to be bordering on the impossible. Ironically, Maria Guadalupe once told me that she helped ambush me and had me thrown into prison because she was angry that I never married Adriana. So, that tends to support what DIF has been saying. All’s I know is that this has nothing to do with Adriana as far as I am concerned. She is her own worst enemy. That much is true. For me, this has always been about you Sam. It’s been about trying to be a Dad while the unthinkable continues to unfold.
There doesn’t seem to be any sign of you as of late. You have had to move 10-times in the last 7-years. You have never been to the same school 2 years in a row. You have literally seen your Dad get ambushed by Adriana 3 of the 4 times. There are over 30,000 pages of court files that tell the rest of the story. So we keep on, keeping on.
