Tuesday, October 25, 2011: So, today is the day Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) picked to drive to court and pardon the criminal case. Yes, I said pardon because the judge already made her decision and it was 95% in my favor. I am not sure why I care what Adriana does at this point. Sure, clearing my name of the “instigation” part would be nice, but it’s not really necessary. It would probably behoove Adriana to drop the case and avoid us appealing the decision. That makes a lot more sense. After sharing my thoughts with Alicia and Carlos, they talked me into giving Adriana one last chance to do the right thing because it will be good for everyone if she does take this positive step. I am not holding my breath although I am sitting in a parking lot adjacent to the border waiting to meet her. What do I have to lose? If I don’t try one last time we are appealing anyway.
The morning already is showing signs Adriana will not come through for the umpteenth time. Last night she calls to tell me to come 30-minutes earlier than scheduled. We would meet when she dropped you off at school. OK. No problem. As I am driving down this morning she calls and wants me to come 2-hours later because she has to rehearse a kid’s play at your school with the other parents. Here we go again Sam. She’s got her built in excuse. So, was she really unaware of this rehearsal when she called me last night to come early? Of all the days, she picked this one for practice. Since she allegedly is the organizer of this play, she knew exactly what she was doing. I already don’t have a good feeling about this. It smells just like the last 15-times times she was going to drop the case. Stay tuned…
