Thursday, February 21, 2013: Its 6:30 in the evening and I am just “waking-up” so to speak. It’s pretty clear the flu has wreaked havoc on our bodies this week. I don’t typically buy into the hype and the media attention to the flu every year. In fact I can’ remember the last time I had a flu shot. The flu’s nasty reputation this year definitely lived up to the hype. I found myself in the emergency room at 4:00 in the morning, doubled over in pain head-to-toe. 104 degree fever, etc. I could barely walk. After a couple hours I could tell whatever the doctors gave me it was making the difference. At least my fever was gone when I left the ER. Now if I can only get my eyeballs to not pop out of my head from the sinus pressure, all will be good. I’m getting nauseous from looking at this screen too long. I am going to call it a day Sweetheart. I have a lot on my mind I will share with you when I get a little bit better. I LOVE YOU SAM.
