Thursday, June 16, 2011: Good Morning Sam! The Boston Bruins did it!!! They won the Stanley Cup!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I am sad that I could not enjoy this with you. The Bruins are my all time favorite sports team in any sport. The Bruins really epitomized what persevering is all about, no matter what gets in the way. They have been close so many times over the years. What an amazing accomplishment! I am almost speechless.
Now it’s our turn! Alicia keeps telling me that all these pieces in court are being put together…we are persevering Sam. I know I missed a lot of your life these last 2 ½ years…we make the most of what little time we are allowed and unfortunately we will never get back the time we lost. We are working hard to make sure you get through this and have an amazing life. I LOVE YOU!
