Tuesday, August 12, 2014: Words can hardly express the shock and sadness I felt upon hearing the news of Robin Williams passing yesterday. Here is a guy who was at the top of the Hollywood mountain for over 30-years. He had it all. Who has not been moved by a Robin Williams performance? Whether you almost pee’d in your pants laughing so hard or were glued to your seat in Good Will Hunting, the man was a treasure. I am actually old enough to remember the TV show Mork & Mindy. If I am not mistaken, that was his big break in Hollywood. Funny show. The passing of Robin Williams just underscores how precious life really is. Here is a guy who made us all laugh at one time or another. He was at the top of the Hollywood food-chain for so long, yet no matter how public he made his own demons, it was not enough for him to get the help he needed. That is the sad part.

When I heard the news yesterday it brought me back to 2009 and 2010. That was such a dark time for me. I have not been shy about how I survived that time period. And I still don’t know how. Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) had just abducted you and had stolen everything out of my house. The economy went to shit and it was 18-hour work days 7-days a week for 2-years just to stay afloat. I was constantly sick. It was non-stop for so long. Then Adriana planned the ambush that landed me at La Mesa Prison for a week. If you read the posts from a couple days ago you will understand how horrifying that ordeal was. There seemed to be no end to the madness.

Fortunately for me I had friends who refused to give up on me. They knew when to pull my head out of my ass when I needed it. I found myself in tears thinking about Robin Williams. Here is a guy with infinite resources and yet he felt he had no other options. It doesn’t seem fair. All’s I know is that every problem has a solution, so long as the solution is not sought after with the same line of thinking that created it. Death is final. Our problems are not. We will miss you Robin. Rest In Peace and God bless your family.
