The response from the podcast has been tremendous. “Riveting” was the word people used to describe the episode over and over again. Those who have lived this journey with me, know we barely scratched the surface in those 2-hours. What’s important is that the conversation continues. Thank you all for your support. We are grateful and humbled.

The stories that do not get told enough are the abducted kids themselves. Left behind parents stories are important to tell. I think the abducted kids stories are even more important.

Today’s video is Samantha in her own words. January 23, 2009. I had just completed the move out of the house Samantha was abducted in. It was not a difficult move to make because while Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) and Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) abducted Samantha back just 2 1/2 months prior, they had stolen everything out of the house as well.

At one point I noticed a missed phone call. It came from a blocked phone number. The only person who ever called me from a blocked number was Adriana. To my surprise this was Adriana that called on this day. Mind you nobody has seen or heard from her or Samantha since her abduction.

This is the voicemail that Adriana had left. You can hear her whispering to Samantha, coaching her on what to say.

We get that this is a short video. The shortest one we will ever publish. We decided to highlight this voicemail because it was the first one since Samantha’s abduction.
