Tuesday, May 5, 2009: Hi Sammy! How are you Beautiful? Today is Cinco de Mayo. The holiday commemorates the Mexican army’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. The outnumbered Mexicans defeated a much better-equipped French army that had not been defeated in almost 50-years. While Cinco de Mayo has limited significance in Mexico, the date is observed in the United States and other locations around the world.
For me the significance is that of a group of people who risked their own lives for what they believed in, and won! I feel like I am that person fighting for what I believe in as your Dad. Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) thinks she is above the law. Textbook sociopath and narcissist. None the less, it’s been a long 6-months Sam. I would like to think we are almost there. I can only hope and pray that is the case.
More importantly next Tuesday we try and sort this out. From what I understand the process starts with mediation. That means the judge will try and have us work this out privately. We may take DNA to prove once and for all that I am your Dad. Its part of the steps we need to take to end this horrible situation. The other day I found your Dora the Explorer sippy cup. You loved that cup. I am having the cup tested for your DNA. Hopefully it wasn’t washed. We can’t use this in court, but we can present it to Adriana to get her to cooperate better. We’ll see what happens. I found a lot of good people to be witnesses for us. Adriana is claiming she never lived at the house with me and in a sense saying I never had a relationship with you. We know that is not true. There are plenty of people who will come to our help when we need them.
