Sunday, September 6, 2009: Hi Sam. I am writing from the beach again. I love being here but at the same time it’s sad because you are not here. I thought there was a chance I would be able to spend some time with you. True to form Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) has not returned my messages.
There are a lot of kids here. Watching them playing with their friends and family reminds me of all the times we were at the beach. It’s times like these especially that remind me how crazy this situation is. Unfortunately nothing good is going to come from trying to reason with Adriana. It does help mask the hurt I have felt for the last 10-months. You are on my mind all the time Sam. I am doing everything I can.
There was a scary moment at the beach today. Parents of a 4-year old boy were looking for their lost son. Immediately it took me back to November 10th when Adriana abducted you and the moment I came home to discover what happened. Without blinking an eye, I helped in the search. The day had its happy ending 30-minutes later when we found the little boy. I can certainly appreciate what those parents were feeling at the moment. I hope I can see you tomorrow. KISSES SAM.
