Thursday, December 19, 2008: Hi Sweetheart! I am in the Phoenix, Arizona airport. The weather has not been that great all across the country. That has caused delays at all the airports everywhere here. Las Vegas was completely shut down because it snowed at the airport there. That never happens! Las Vegas does not know how to handle the snow thus creating all kinds of delays at other places. We made the most of it. It helps when you meet nice people. Coming back from Phoenix was pretty much the same. Most people were going home for the holiday. I was traveling on business and going home to an empty house. So my perspective was a little different. I found the little stuffed cactus toy I bought you a year ago at the Phoenix airport. Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) took the first one. I almost cried in the store when I saw it because I remember your face when I gave you the first one. You were so cute with that beautiful smile Sam.
Christmas is almost here. It’s been a hard holiday without you here. Everybody has been so great keeping me focused on what we need to do to bring this situation to an end. I have a project that I have been working on. My Christmas gift this year to people is an electronic picture frame. It allows you to load a bunch of picture from the computer onto the frame and they play the pictures like a slide show. With all the great memories you have already given me, I have thousands of pictures of My Little Princess. While I put this together I have experienced a lot of mixed emotions. Sometimes I cry with such sadness because I cannot figure out why this happened. We used to be happy altogether. I laugh a lot because you have the natural gift of laughter, and making others laugh. I don’t hold out much hope Adriana will do the right thing and contact me during Christmas.
