Tuesday, February 10, 2009: Today is not an anniversary I care to recognize. The 10th of every month since November has been tough. I can’t believe you have been gone three months. I have my ups and downs Sweetheart. There are days where I am thinking of you and I smile because the memories of you are the funny things you do. Other days I am sad because you are not here to come into my office when you wake up. I can’t see you dance to Maaka Paaka or Dora. As you know I moved out of the house back on January 22nd. I just listened to all the voice mails I missed during that time while I got settled into my new house. One of the voice mails surprised me. It was a voice mail from you!!! I had to listen to it several times because it was really short…however I heard Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) help you with what to say. Your message said “Hola Papa”. Sam, I almost lost it. It was so great to hear your voice! You sounded so good! I don’t know what the motivation of Adriana was to make that call. That is between me and her I suppose.
You are my princess and deserve better than what you have had happen to you. Nobody deserves this. This is why I am so frustrated. I did get some good news. A month ago I had some computer issues. A piece of equipment that had important information on it, including pictures of you, were lost when the device stopped working. I sent it into a company that was able to recover all the data on the device! It’s a little expensive, but to have your pictures back, including the video of your birth, was worth every penny! Small victory to help me stay connected to you until we resolve this situation. I love you Sam! Saturday is Valentine’s Day. Will you be Dady’s Valentine? KISSES SWEETHEART!
