Wednesday, February 23, 2011: Here comes the sales pitch Sam. I can smell it coming a mile away from Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel). And she did not disappoint. I have been ignoring Adriana’s attempts to text me. I despise texting to begin with. Everybody knows this about me. Anyway, she called yesterday and allowed you to leave me the cutest voicemail. I saved it for you. Then earlier today the sales pitch came.
Adriana supposedly fell behind paying for your school. She goes on to tell me that your school is offering ½ off inscription next year. Offer ends in a couple weeks BUT she has to be current with her payments to take advantage of this offer. The result? She was asking me for the money. There is a lot wrong with what she is telling me. First of all the next school year is 6-7 months away. Even colleges do not ask for money that far in advance. But I am supposed to believe that a kindergarten in Mexico is asking for this? She offers no paperwork, nothing to support her story as usual.
What Adriana does not know just yet is that I am aware that she is trying to sue me for $10,000. But it’s not about the money with her. I let her know I was aware of this after the sales pitch was done. Naturally Adriana was embarrassed when confronted in person with a lie. So what does she do? She tried to lie her way around it by telling me that she presented that a long time ago to the district attorney and that she told the doctors she was not going to have surgery. Great, then she would not any problem calling them to tell them this was a mistake right? Of course not. I am fully aware of how the system works. The court contacted Adriana to tell her the case was over and she offered this as a last ditch effort to keep this lunacy going.
First of all, it has been almost 7-months since that horrible day in August. One would imagine if Adriana really needed this surgery she would have needed it immediately regardless of cost. Second, the document she submitted was dated for October, meaning, she has had it for a while. Third, she never used this as evidence until now. None of which makes sense.
Sam, I cannot make this stuff up Sweetheart. I cannot control what goes on in Adriana’s head. I will continue to chip away at this the best way I can. It’s extremely sad because she is not the same person I fell in love with. At the end of the day, you did not ask for this. You do not deserve this Sam. I am so sorry. I love you so much. I will never quit no matter what happens and no matter how long it takes. Sometimes I have no idea which way is up but quitting is never an option.
