Friday, August 19, 2011: Good Morning Sam! You could not possibly guess where I am this Friday morning. Yes, there is a hint of sarcasm in that sentence. If you said in a 3-hour line in Tijuana trying to get back into San Diego, you would be right. It was another trip to the prison to sign in. Almost 13-months after Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) put me there and yet this is still going on. So I laughed it off and hopped on a bus for $5 that will get me over the border in ½ the time. What a system.
It’s easy to second guess what we are doing when everything around us is in complete chaos. We forget what normal is. The word “normal” should not even be in the dictionary. Its a nebulous word that means nothing in today’s world. There are those people who know what they want in life and set goals to achieve them. Then there are those who fly by the seat of their pants, make impulsive decisions, and cause chaos around everyone and everything around them. In both situations that may be normal to those two different types of people.
Remember me mentioning the TV show “LA Ink” a few months ago? It was cancelled yesterday will stop running after this season. This was the show I was casting for a few months ago. They were interested in doing an episode highlighting our story. The ratings for the show were really good. Some recent PR issues scared the network, thus the show being cancelled for fear of any backlash. It had a great run. 7-seasons. 84 episodes. Our episode is in the editing room somewhere. I was told I would get a copy of it, which would be cool to show you sometime. No, the picture in this post is not THE tattoo.
Two buses to go. Not bad. Under 75-minute wait. Better than standing in that line for 3-hours. Best $5 you can ever spend. I LOVE YOU SAM! See you tomorrow. KISSES!
