Saturday, November 8, 2008: Looking back, I am getting chills thinking about all this. Had my eyes been wide open, I would have known for sure something was definitely wrong. I know hindsight is 20/20, but the signs were there. The following are text messages from Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) to me while she was “in Mexico City”. I would find out just 48-hours later, she never went to Mexico City. She doesn’t have a family member who could have helped Axel Alvarez Coronel (AKA Axel Coronel) with a broken wrist. She does have a relative in Mexico City who is a plastic surgeon. Not quite the same thing.
Knowing that Samantha’s abduction is about to take place just 2-days after she sent these text messages will give you chills.
“Monday is a big day”, “Wish us luck”, “We are nervous” – referring to what is about to happen 2-days from this date. The hair is standing up on my arm as I write this. I want to vomit.
These messages did not raise suspicion at the time because we were planning a birthday party for Axel, whose birthday was only a few days away. Crazy.
