Sunday, February 26, 2012: Good Morning Sam! Its Sunday morning and I am at the beach. I have not been here to just listen to the waves in a while. I miss it. The sun is starting to break through the marine layer. It’s going to be a nice day today. We had an amazing day yesterday. I am so in love with being your Dad. You never cease to amaze me even in through this crazy situation we have been dealing with. I found a muse that helps break up the monotony that comes with being in that house every Saturday. It’s the fish tank. I have invested some money in it for you because I want that to be something for us so you have a nice reminder of me when I am not there. I have the care of the fish down to a science now. I hope you enjoy them.
Between the choreographed dance routines, the real life Angry Birds and Jenga, not to mention the cupcakes we made together. The time as always, goes by too fast. The real life Angry Birds was brilliant. My stomach hurt from laughing so hard. Stretching the clothes line and launching stuffed animals into other objects Where do you come up with this stuff Sam? I LOVE IT!
The paradigm came after you fell asleep next to me. Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) gave me permission to stay later with you. While I would never pass on an opportunity to spend more time with you, this “generosity” always comes with a price. This was no different. The reality is that Adriana wants to take you to Mexico City and Cancun in the next couple months. She can’t do it without my permission. Frankly, I could care less if her family wants to spend time with you. If they want to see you they can visit you in Tijuana.
It’s the hypocrisy of all this that is interesting. Adriana won’t allow you to see my family but she wants me to let you see hers. She wants me in her life to take care of all her bills and self-inflicted problems but she will not do what it takes to sustain a parental relationship with someone she is asking the universe of. It’s not like I don’t already have a million reasons to stay away from Adriana. So what else is new, Adriana is mad at me because I won’t give her what she wants. Wait until she finds out you are not going to Mexico City and Cancun with her. That may start World War 3. I LOVE YOU SAM!
