Sunday, June 16, 2013: It’s a bittersweet Father’s Day. Sam, I am honored and forever grateful to be your Dad. I am reminded how painful this situation is everyday. And even more so on holidays like today. I’m pretty sure Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) is making you spend the day with Isaias Palomeque (AKA Isaias Uzziel Palomeque, Isaias Palomeque Vergara, Project Manager at DJO Global) and his brood of kids. I can’t imagine how that makes you feel Sweetheart, knowing your real Dad is out there. That’s despicable.
With you on my mind and in my heart, I took a long walk on a beach near my house today. It’s a beach I have never been to but one I have driven past many times. All I could think of is you. This beach had a playground for kids, right on the sand. It has the biggest tide pools I have ever seen, which you would love. Not to mention rocks to climb and sit on and watch the waves. It was amazing and it seems like Mother Nature made this place for you. It’s a sad day for me today. A day that cannot end fast enough.
