Saturday, April 5, 2014: Hi Beautiful! It was so great to see you! I know it’s been a long time. I am so sorry about that. It’s hard to explain when we are together because I am being censored by everyone around us. That is why I have been keeping this journal for you.
So, the court official and I pulled up to the house and all the cars were gone. Naturally we thought you were not home. Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) came outside. The court official said “hello” when she recognized us. As usual, Maria Guadalupe refers to me as “Brian” when talking to you and not “Papa”. Aside from that there was no real drama during our visit. Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) was not home and Maria Guadalupe decided to sit in the little office area adjacent to the living room area and watch us the entire time. It did not matter to her that the court official was sitting right there.
When you came downstairs, you were not angry or shy. You sat right next to me, no problem. It was great to see you as your usually funny self. In school you have learned to make Play Doh out of regular household ingredients. Guess what we did, we made our own Play Doh and even added food coloring to the mix: purple, blue, green, yellow, red. Of course Maria Guadalupe tried to interfere the best she could; scolding us as we made a mess of it in the living room. She forgets that the furniture we are sitting on is not actually hers or Adriana’s, it’s mine.
Suffice it to say, it was a lot of fun. You were gracious enough to send me home with a bag of orange Play Doh we made. You actually joked that it was not really Play Doh but rather vomit as you pretended to vomit on the bag. It was funny. You even sent the court official home with a bag of green Play Doh. So together we called it Guacamole and Chipotle Play Doh. Too funny.
You loved your souvenirs from Hawaii. So much, we went in the backyard to pretend we were taking a cruise to Hawaii to explore the animals. I love the creativity Sam. Don’t ever lose that. You are getting so big. And by big, I mean tall. You are such a beautiful little girl. I love to watch you go through your discovery processes still. That will never get old. It’s amazing to see how you incorporate the new things you learn whether it’s from school or wherever.
By that time Adriana returned home from wherever she was that morning. She made small talk with the court official. Nothing unusual. When we made it back inside from our pretend trip to Hawaii you started to get irritated with Adriana. The interaction you had with her was interesting. It was regarding our time together. You asked Adriana if I could take you to Mundo Diverdido. Of course she said “no”. You went on to tell Adriana that there is nothing to do when I come visit you; that it is not fair that she keeps us confined to the living room and backyard of the house all the time.
Sam, what you did was absolutely brilliant. The genius of this was that it was done right on front of the court official too. This is all in the official court files thanks to you. Adriana looked horrible telling you “no” like that. We have been telling Adriana this consistently for the last 5 1/2 years. Not sure when it will eventually sink in. Let’s keep it up until she does!
After the discussion with Adriana, we took to drawing for the remainder of the time. When it was time to leave, you did not want us to go. Believe me, I did not want to go either. The court official recognizes how bad the situation is. He sees the love you have for me in how you look at me and how we interact even being quarantined to the living room of the house. The court official is a dad too. As a parent he cannot fathom how or why Adriana and Maria Guadalupe still continue to act this way. Nobody else can either for that matter. The court official took pictures of us and sent them to me before we left. This way we did not put you or anyone on the defensive with the camera on.
Funny note, Adriana wore her wedding ring towards the end if the day. Ironically, she wasn’t wearing it when she originally came home. Another irony are the pictures of her in the house. So, this is Danny Howitt (AKA Daniel Duncan Howitt, Elizabeth Farquhar Duncan, Kenneth Duncan) now in the dining room area. Not Isaias Palomeque (AKA Isaias Uzziel Palomeque, Isaias Palomeque Vergara, Project Manager at DJO Global). Eventually her new in-laws are going to find out about all this if they don’t know already. Good luck trying to keep the ugly truth from coming out. Palomeque’s name is on the house and we know they are still doing their “thing”. If it wasn’t so disgusting, I would give Adriana props for juggling 2 guys like this at the same time. Then again, when has Adriana ever played it straight?
I LOVE YOU SAM! The court official is going to try and be more available to us moving forward. It really does depend on his case load from the court. I am not sure about this week, but next week for sure. Not to mention, your birthday is less than a month away. On a Saturday no less. MANY KISSES BEAUTIFUL!
