Tuesday, September 15, 2015: Hey Beautiful. it’s been awhile since I last wrote. Last night I saw a show called Project Greenlight. it’s been several years since its last been on. For me, it’s the first time I have seen the show. Actors Ben Affleck and Matt Damon host the show where they are running a contest to find a director to make a short indie film. Once they found the director, they document the process filmmakers go through to actually produce a movie. It was pretty cool to see. The movie itself was very clever. It’s called “The Leisure Class”. I’m not going to give the plot away here. The movie itself will stand on it’s own if you don’t watch the Project Greenlight shows that proceeded it. Watching the series before watching the movie, makes the movie even more enjoyable knowing the background.

Watching Project Greenlight brought me back to the casting of the show LA Ink from a few years ago. Getting to see the behind the scenes was a great experience. Of course the documentary that the San Diego news media did on our story was a great experience as well. And of course, your 60-seconds of fame from the producers of the show “Crossing South”. That was the show that interviewed us at the Xolo’s game when they won the tournament to get promoted to the Mexican Premier League.

Adding to my filmography was being an extra in the movie “Rookie of the Year”, starring Gary Busey and Daniel Stern. My involvement in this was completely accidental. A semi-long story that is better told in person some day. I still have the pictures to prove this by the way. Long story short, I was always a Gary Busey fan. People often told me I looked like him in my 20’s and 30’s. In fact someone on the Rookie of the Year production team thought I was his son when we were on set during the shoot that day. That was pretty funny actually. Rookie of the Year is a fun movie. It did not break any box office records by any stretch. But it was a very profitable film, which Hollywood loves of course. Gary Busey and Daniel Stern have had pretty prolific careers to date. Suffice it to say, this was a very cool project to be a part of.

But I digress Sam. Because of the shear volume of lunacy Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) has been responsible for, I have been approached many times about filming our own documentary about this situation. The story has to be told. There is no question about that. This journal is one thing. Making a book out of it is another, which is already a done deal. We will see what the future holds. What I can tell you now and always is that you are always on my mind Sam. I LOVE YOU!
