Wednesday, December 9, 2015: So, I gave the train another shot today Sam. I did not have much choice actually. My car is in the shop getting the alternator replaced. When you start your car, it’s the battery that actually gets the car going. Once the engine turns on, the alternator takes over. Think of it as a power generator. It’s the heart of the car. I noticed signs that it was about to go out for good and brought it into the shop. Good timing too because it would have completely went out on me in a day or two. So I have to take the train down to meet with Lourdes. In addition, El Mexicano, Azteca TV and Televisa wanted to do a follow up report on what happened in court last week. The train ran on time. Everything was cool. It was a relaxing ride. I got some work done on the ride down.

The meeting with Lourdes went well. I have written about most of this stuff already. I did get a copy of the audio and video from the civil court in Irapuato. That will be interesting to see when I get home. On of the things the judge was adamant about was ordering Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) to not move again. Not next door and not anywhere else in Irapuato. Doing so will land her in jail. Everyone knows its not “if” Adriana violates this court order, but “when”. Adriana knows the media has just put a big bright light on all this. And maybe, just maybe it will keep her from doing something else stupid. Only time will tell. The smart money is on Adriana going on the run again because of course she will.

Afterwards, Lourdes met with Maria. Maria is our lead attorney in Irapuato. With all due respect, we nicknamed her the “bulldog” because she was awesome! She did not put up with any of Graciela Alarcon Barreda‘s antics. We really enjoyed working with her down there. As much as you can enjoy working with someone under these circumstances anyway. Maria had some ideas on how to elicit real change and be done with this once and for all. Interesting perspective. Stay tuned.
