Wendy Samantha Coronel Tenorio’s Abduction Day 243 (Part 1)

Wendy Samantha Coronel Tenorio's Abduction Day 243 (Part 1)

Tuesday, July 7, 2009: Happy Tuesday Samy! I apologize for not writing yesterday. It was the big day I have been waiting almost 8-months for. Dad finally got to see his Little Princess! I was so exhausted from the day I went right to sleep when I got home. I was emotionally drained more than anything. It was so great to see you! You looked to beautiful Samy!

The day started with Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) calling me as I was driving to Mexico to see you in court. It was strange, she asked me what I was wearing and that she was excited to see me. I asked her “why?” She said she had a good feeling about the future. Like I said, it was a weird call. It was not until later that I figured out why she really called. I met with Alicia before we drove to court. We all have worked hard to get to this point Sam. I hope reading this as it happens helps you understand what is going on and what it took to try and reason with Adriana. As we walked into court, there you were on Adriana’s lap. There was a crowd of people with you. Not sure if they were just there or if they were Adriana’s friends.

As we entered the room we were in the last time in court, we received some interesting news. Someone on Adriana’s side called the DNA expert and told them they did not have to come to court! Can you believe that? This was an obvious stall tactic on Adriana’s part and explains why she called that morning as I was driving to court. She wanted to know if I knew what was going on and to see if I was not going to show up. CRAZY! To make a long story short we were delayed but the DNA lady did make it.

When Adriana walked into the room with you, you were pretty upset with me. You did not to even look at me for a few minutes. I understand why. I have been gone for so long. It’s the same thing you used to do when I traveled out of town on business. After a few minutes you were no longer mad at me and were happy that I was there. You were so adorable Sam. Everyone in the room mentioned how beautiful you are! I was so proud!

The judge was there too. She was observing you and I together. She asked me why you were mad at me. I mentioned the same as I did above. It was cute because over time you kept looking over at me and when I looked back you turned away with a small giggle. I brought you a pink teddy bear as a gift. The teddy bear is holding a box and in it are pictures of you and me together. I did not want you to forget me Sam. You came to get the bear and that’s when you were no longer mad at me. The judge asked you if you know who gave the bear to you. You said yes and pointed to me. Then you were talking about your toys and showed me one of your favorite toys. You came over and gave it to me and told me all about it.

After the DNA tests were taken, the judge had a few words for Adriana. She did not appreciate the stall tactic, trying to get the DNA expert from coming. She also told Adriana that her job is to protect my rights as your Dad. Adriana was very uncomfortable in court yesterday. She did not like hearing what she did when I explained to it the judge. She does not like to hear what my life has been like the last several months while we have been working to figure this out. Adriana does not think she has done anything wrong, and that is the scary part. More importantly Sam, we showed her that the bond between a Dad and his little girl cannot be broken. I was so sad because I did not want to leave you. You did not want to leave me either. That has always been the hard part.

Adriana’s actions have always spoken louder than her words. This is no different. She is a walking contradiction and the list of contradictions is probably a mile long at this point. I will save that for a rainy day. If anything I will keep the lines of communication open as long as it helps. KISSES MY LOVE! DADDY LOVES YOU. ALWAYS!
