Friday, January 9, 2009: Good Morning Sweetheart! Here we are, a new year. New beginnings! I met with Alicia last night. She is one of the attorneys working to get you back home. She can’t wait to meet you! She is encouraged about us resolving this in the next couple months. On Monday, family court in Mexico finally reopens. It will take a few days for the courts to process the case we are presenting so we can serve Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) the papers. I would love nothing more than to spend time with my Little Munchkin as my Valentine!
We will have a new President in 11-days. Barak Obama is the new President of the United States. I mention this because it was a historic election in the United States this past year. President Obama represents change. Welcomed change too. The last few years have been difficult for a lot of people. I love what President Obama is doing for the county and the world. More importantly he will make the world a better place for you to live in. After all that is what parents are supposed to do – try and make the world a better place for their kids. I mention the new President because of the excitement and motivation he instills in people. He has influenced how I have gone about trying to build my business and to find a resolution to this horrible situation. I hope to teach you these same things as you grow up. Doing all this makes me anxious to see you. I hope you remember me. I am sure you will. I remember how angry you would get at me when I traveled for work for a few days. I hope you don’t get too mad at me, although I understand if you do because you don’t really know why I have not been around the last couple months.
Adriana wrote a blog post today. In it she describes how lucky she is to see you grow every day. I bet she she is. After all it’s not everyday you can abduct your child and at the same time rub it in the face of the father you took her from. Adriana posted pictures of you in a Snow White costume. Seeing all my furniture Adriana and Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) had stolen in the process of abducting you makes my stomach turn.
