Wednesday, September 21, 2011: Good Morning Sam! I am sitting on an airplane going to Portland, Oregon for a quick day trip. Although at the moment the plane is having technical difficulties but it doesn’t sound serious. We should be on our way in a few minutes. I don’t know where immaturity turns in to crazy, or even if there should ever be a delineation between the two. I think it’s safe to assume Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) crossed this line quite some time ago. She conveniently enrolled you in dance classes on Saturday mornings, taking 3-hours out of my time with you. I objected to the situation and without hesitation, Adriana threw a fit. You dance on other days during the week too, so I am failing to see why she would have done this knowing full well this is our time together. She never asked me about this nor did we talk about it until you came home at 12:00 last Saturday. It’s not like I can be flexible and enjoy watching you dance, the classes are closed to all parents.
True to form, when Adriana did not get her way, she dangled you in front of her argument. This time she had you leave a scripted voicemail asking me to let you go to the classes on Saturdays. Classless on her part. You obviously did not know better. Based on how much you enjoy spending time together, you would easily pick time with me over dance on Saturdays. If this was the only day for dance maybe that would be different. Be that as it may, Adriana wanted me to just give up 30-hours of time with you in lieu of these dance practices without giving me anything in return. 30-hours is a long time. So, when I proposed she drop the criminal case with her plan from last Saturday, all the while I want it in writing that I am going to this Christmas festival, she hung up the phone on me. Imagine that.
Clearly, Adriana could care less about my role in your life. If she cared at all she would not drag this out as long as she has. Oscar Ivan Diaz Gomez is honest at least. He has always told us her intentions are to take you away from me for good. They will not succeed but his side of the story fits with the lunacy that has followed Adriana since your abduction took place.
So, we continue the fight Sam. I’m so sorry. Back home, I am working harder than ever to do what I can to end this situation the best way possible. We are appealing the family court decision. It’s absolutely ridiculous to think I need to be in the presence of Adriana’s family in order to spend time with you. You are my daughter after all.
