Saturday, May 21, 2011: Hi Sam! I am grinning from ear to ear this evening yet sad at the same time. Sad because like every Saturday, our time together goes by so fast. Those 6-hours seem like 6-minutes. I try and make the most of our time together Sam. It’s not easy sometimes under the current conditions. There 168 hours in a week and I only get 6 to spend with you. We are working hard on that as you know.

The dynamic in Adriana Coronel Tenorio’s (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) house is very interesting. I sense that Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) is still upset at what happened in court. I tried to engage her in conversation, complimented her on her hair and she was having none of it. The scowl on her face said it all. She did not even have breakfast with the family which is the telltale sign she is still pissed off. To that I say, GOOD. I don’t care that I am under her skin for protecting your honor Sam. I am sure there is some deep rooted jealousy because her dad never did the same for her. I know that is sad, but the woman is 50 years old. How long is she going to hold onto that grudge?

Onward and upward.

Sam, today you witnessed some history and will be on American TV next month all at the same time. Tijuana has a professional soccer team called the Xolos. Anyway, for a minor league team they are pretty good actually. Winning their championship last season. If they were to accomplish the same feat this season, the team would be promoted to the major leagues – Mexico’s Premier League. I used to tell Adriana that Tijuana could easily support a major soccer team. With 4-million people between San Diego and Tijuana and the money Caliente Casinos has behind the team, it’s a no brainer. The owner also added an incentive to the mix, win again and he would build the team a bigger stadium.

What a better way to spend a Saturday with my beautiful princess. We found tickets to the game. I hoisted you on my shoulders and we had a blast. The atmosphere was amazing. It was easy to get behind the home team even though they were playing Irapuato. You were singing along with the crowd, giving people around us high 5’s. And when the final whistle sounded, the Xolos were victorious 2-1. You witnessed a soccer history Sam. I am so happy I got to share your first major sporting event with you.

That was not even the ½ of it. The Xolo fans created a very colorful tradition when they score a goal. After every goal, they celebrate by starting a food fight. No kidding. A food fight! 25,000 people all throwing water, soda, beer, wine and food at one another. I had never seen anything like it. We joined right in as if we were long time fans, and why not. I hope the Xolos do well, it will be an amazing boost to the city.

As we were leaving we walked by a film crew filming the crowd reaction. The crew was from PBS doing a documentary on the US/Mexico border called ‘Crossing South’. They were asking us about our experience and whether or not be willing to be on American television. Of course we said yes. Our experience at the game really did rival what you would see in other soccer famed countries like England, Spain, France, Germany, Brazil or even Argentina. The show will be on TV June 18th. I am going to get a copy of it from the crew.

After all was said and done, I had an interesting conversation with Adriana. She inquired again about my demeanor in court. It clearly makes her uncomfortable if she is still dwelling on it. Then we talked about Maria Guadalupe and her attitude problem with me. I was right; she is still very pissed off she wasted time like that in court on the 9th for nothing. Awesome! If Maria Guadalupe never got involved in the first place, she could be unproductive and bitter someplace else. She has nobody to blame but herself.

Adriana’s attorney, Oscar Ivan Diaz Gomez, is trying to blame us for not him not being prepared in court. Really? We are responsible for Oscar Ivan Diaz Gomez being awful at his job? Too funny. At least that is what Adriana is trying to tell us. That does not make much sense because Adriana did not want to pay for the translator. She knew what was going on. Oscar Ivan Diaz Gomez should have known better. Anyway, I reiterated my position in court and why I have such a stoic demeanor. I can be nice when I spend time with you Sam. Its the right thing to do. I don’t have to be nice in court. I would love for all of us to get along. There is no reason why that can’t happen. We should not even be in court, but thanks to Adriana we continue this game. And it’s only going to get worse for her. And she knows it. Why should I be happy about 2 bitter women constantly telling the court lies and expect me to be cordial to them at the same time? That’s crazy.

Adriana has failed to see what a toll this is taking on everyone, even her own family. She wants me to come meet the school psychologist Monday afternoon to talk about why you have temper tantrums. The answer to that is simple, as I am 99.9999% sure if you are showing some aggression, a psychologist may want to start with Adriana ripping you out of my arms and out of my life. Just sayin’.

Thank you for another amazing Saturday Sam. I love you so much…you are growing up so fast. I wish I could slow time down and get back the 2 ½ years I have lost. In the meantime, lots to do still. KISSES!
