Friday, July 8, 2011: Good Morning Sam. I miss you my Princess. Allegedly you are on your way to Mexico City at the moment. I will not be visiting tomorrow because of that. However, we will have the whole weekend next week. That is if Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) actually keeps her promise. And we all know how good she is at keeping her word. Keep your fingers crossed.

Lots on my mind these last few days. I know, what else is new. Adriana finally got back to me several hours AFTER she screeched out of the court building parking lot the other day. She had some time to think of more lies to tell me as to why she did not come through with what she said she would do. Get this, she was looking for her attorney, Oscar Ivan Diaz Gomez. That is what she said – knowing full well he left long before we did. What she going to do? Start a high speed pursuit of her dime-store attorney on the crowded streets of Tijuana? OK. I’ll play. What was your plan Adriana if you tracked him down? Drag him back to court by his earlobe? When pressed for real as to why she needed her attorney, she said because we need an agreement on paper. That is not what she said on Saturday. Then again she did not ask for $10,000 either. At the end of the day, all she had to do was walk down the hall in court and pardon the case. Done. If Adriana cannot pardon the case because it’s the right thing to do given the fact she made it all up in the first place, then fuck it. I am not signing any agreement. The reality is that your mother knows she is in big trouble. She said she did not sleep well the night before court and she looked like it. No joke. I would not have slept well either if I was her. Once the proceedings were over for the day, she could care less about keeping her word…until the next time. Then the cycle starts all over again. Typical.

It’s amazing how the obvious is not so obvious to less intelligent people. The deck is so stacked against us that I have often wondered if “crazy” is the new normal. Morality be damned. Good thing your Dad is a stubborn bastard. Adriana has never met anyone like me. I see it on her face. Unlike every other guy she has ever met, I can say “no” to her. I am not a “yes” man. I just hope and pray that in Adriana’s never ending desperation that nothing happens to you.
