Saturday, July 30, 2011: Good Morning Sam! I am at the border with some time to kill. There was no traffic this morning for the ride down. I realize Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) would love nothing more than to forget about all the carnage she has caused and sweep it under the rug. She keeps telling me about the talk her grandmother gave her while in Mexico City regarding our relationship. Apparently it has not sunk in because I am still dealing with both courts. I asked her about what her grandmother said regarding the court cases, mainly the criminal case since that was a bunch of lies anyway. Its funny how fast she changes the subject. Now she is blaming her lawyer, Oscar Ivan Diaz Gomez, for her not dropping the case the last time we were in court. I reminded her that when one says they are going to drop something, like this ridiculous case, one does not bring their fake x-rays to court to do it. Or bolt out of court like the building is on fire. All she had to do was walk into the court building and drop the mother fucking case. She could do this by herself. It’s really as simple as that. I am not interested in listening to anything she has to say at this point because its all bullshit.

In the meantime, we took some well-deserved time off a couple days ago and went to Catalina Island for a day. Unless you are a very good swimmer or have access to a helicopter, you can only get there by boat. I have to take you there someday. It is amazing. I realized a couple things. I need to do this more often. For instance, they have bison on this island. Back in the day, Hollywood was filming a movie on the island and flew a handful of bison to Catalina and left them there. Years later, BOOM! The bison are thriving although I have yet to actually see one. I guess that is a good thing.

Another oddity about Catalina. The Chicago Cubs Spring Training used to be on Catalina Island. I would have never have guessed. This was when the Cubs were actually good and relevant, which was about 100-years ago. Most teams spend Spring Training in Arizona or Florida. Not the Cubs back then. No. They went to California. And in that still left the mainland to get ready for the baseball season. Catalina Island is 26-miles off the coast of Los  Angeles. There is still quite a bit of memorabilia from that era available. While we had a great time, by the time I was really able to relax and take my mind off things, it was time to get back home. Next time. OK beautiful, see you soon!
