Wednesday, February 15, 2012: Hi Beautiful. I am writing you from Alicia and Carlos’ new offices. It’s a really nice place. As I was strolling up and down the street in the rain looking for this place, a random stranger who was ducking under a doorway to stay dry offers to help me find this office. He knew I was lost. He was dressed up and after a brief conversation he tells me he just concluded a job interview with Nextel. Once we found the place, I offered him some money. He turned it down. I have to hook this guy up with Alicia and Carlos. Surely they know someone who would hire a good guy like this.
So, before we get into why I am here, I hear you lost your first baby tooth! Congratulations! Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) sent me a picture. It could be sad that this is yet another milestone I have missed these last 3 ½ years, but this really is about you. Another sign that my Little Princess is getting bigger, a little older and more mature. Blossoming into that beautiful woman we know you will be. No wonder you are excited. I would be to if I were you.
On another note, I have no idea if I am going to be able to see you tonight or not. I have not heard from Adriana yet. She knows I am here. Then again maybe it would be better if I wait to see you until Saturday. After all that has gone on these last several months, we have to beat Adriana’s appeal. There is no question about it. She is trying to take you away from me for good Sam. Like, literally take you away from me so I never see you again. Words cannot describe how that makes me feel. Her whole thought process is nothing like normal people. If she even has one. Suffice it to say, I have a feeling she is going to try and blow me off tonight because she knows why I am meeting with Alicia and Carlos. Part of her feels bad and part of her doesn’t care to do anything about it. Pretty typical for how my entire relationship with Adriana has gone. I like our chances with this appeal since she did not offer up any evidence as to why I should not be able to spend time with you. None what so ever. Crazy right? She does this stuff because she can and not because there is any merit to the appeal. It’s how the system works in Mexico. As part of Adriana appealing the court’s decision to allow me 12-hours with you each week the judge gave me over 6-months ago, her appeal says she does not want me to spend any time with you what so ever. Those are her exact words. Scary. We will more than likely not have a decision from the Supreme Court until May. Obviously we would like to have a decision sooner.
As I am writing this, Adriana called. And I was right she’s trying to blow me off. You are with her, which made me happy because I thought I could talk her into me seeing you for dinner at least. NOPE! Adriana drove you right down the street from where I am and she decided to drive home instead. I am scratching my head. Dumbfounded that Adriana actually went out of her way to bring you here and pulled the rug out from under me like that. Am I surprised? No. Get used to this Sam, this is exactly how Adriana treats everyone.
Really Adriana? You drove all that way to where Alicia and Carlo’s offices are on purpose. There was no other reason for you to be here. Why not let me spend time with our Little Princess??? It’s laughable how Adriana’s excuses come full circle and she doesn’t even realize it. That being said, I am sorry tonight did not work out for us Sam. I miss you Sam! I can’t wait to see you on Saturday. I LOVE YOU!
