Monday, July 15, 2013: Hi Sam. I miss you Sweetheart. More than words can say. Its mid-afternoon and I was going through my email when I came across a newsletter I get every week from Baby Center. I have been getting these emails every week for almost 8-years now. Ever since I found out I was going to be your Dad. In the beginning they were emails about your actual physical development before you were born. I found that to be fascinating. I also learned a lot because I did not know what to expect. When you were born, those emails helped me understand the changes you were going through which helped me to prepare being your Dad.
Even after Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) abducted you, I read them for the same reasons. It’s bittersweet because you are such a beautiful and vibrant little girl. Exploring, discovering and learning. It’s an amazing process. I read about the things I cannot be there to witness with you. That is the hard part. Today’s email is about your curiosity with science and gave some good ideas to engage in your interests on a deeper level. One of the suggestions was visiting museums. The other was visiting libraries. The thought is never far from my mind that we have never been able to experience these things yet. Nobody knows when this nightmare is going to end. These emails are a reminder of the responsibility I have to you as your Dad. Things I am sure Adriana has never thought of. Like that trip your class took to Legoland a few months ago. I wonder how Adriana lied her way through not allowing you to go with your classmates. I LOVE YOU SWEETIE!
