Monday, September 2, 2013: Good morning Sam. I cannot believe a whole summer went by and I did not get to spend any time with you. It’s disgraceful that Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) allowed that to happen. You started the 2nd grade already. I’m not sure what school you are going to. You have changed schools almost as many times as Adriana has moved you these last 5-years. Holy cow, 5-years.

So, I had another bizarre dream with you in it last night. It was the reason I woke up so early this morning. We were out driving with Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio). She took us out to rural Mexico, about an hour outside Tijuana. She drove the car into a rock quarry. At one point almost drove the car off of a cliff because the gravel road was so narrow. I asked her why we were there, to which she replied that it was one of your favorite play spots. I asked you if that were true and you just sat staring out the window, expressionless and motionless. As if you were in a trance. Once inside, we took a big elevator down into the quarry. I was told the kids play area was there, however no adults were allowed. I protested of course because this place was creepy and there was no way I wanted to be away from you with all these people around. We didn’t know who these people are. A fight ensued, staged by the people who were trying to separate us. Then you were gone. Behind a giant steel door that shut right in front of me. I was furious. Rather than wait, I snuck around and found all these different tunnels hoping one of them would lead to you. People laughed and mocked me as if this was some game.

Unfortunately at 5:00AM exactly, I woke up. No alarm. No noises outside. Nothing. I looked outside and noticed how foggy it was. How appropriate because that’s how I felt trying to figure out what the dream meant or why they end without a conclusion. After a cup of coffee, I wonder if you are starting to find some things out on your own. If anyone Google’s your name, this situation consumes the first 2-pages in all the search engines. Kids these days are very tech savvy. Acting on your curiosity is what kids do at your age. I would not be surprised if you started to see this online. The issue is that what you read online conflicts with everything Adriana has told you. Believe me Sam, I know how that feels. As you continue to read, you will see through all the lies you have been told. There are too many ways to verify every word I am saying. Adriana has nothing to verify her lies, except with more lies.

The dream from last night was a great metaphor on this situation. It’s been 4-months since I last spent real time with you. And 2-months since we surprised Adriana and Maria Guadalupe with the court representative. Yet after all the promises of change, we are still stuck on square one. I have to travel to Tijuana tomorrow to meet with Lourdes and Alicia at 4:00. We’ll see what happens.
