Thursday, November 14, 2013: Hi Sam. I happened to be in Mexico today. Unfortunately I did not get to see you. I was there to see Alfredo and to take care of some business with the court. Alfredo is going to Mochis for the winter. He has a daughter there who is 4-years older than you. He’s a great guy Sam. I hope you get to hang out with us again soon. We had lunch together today. The running joke is that he’s my Mexican father.

Court business, funny stuff Sam. Flor was with me today as Lourdes was off to Guadalajara for her son’s wedding. You met Flor a couple times. She was the pregnant woman who Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) and Isaias Palomeque (AKA Isaias Uzziel Palomeque, Isaias Palomeque Vergara, Project Manager at DJO Global) tried to bully when we were last at your house. We needed some copies of case files which required my signature. The petition Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) filed behind our backs being one of them. Flor is a trooper Sam. She does not put up with anyone’s shit. It was fun to see her do her thing. I can see why Flor and Lourdes get along so well. Flor tells me that sometimes she spends all day in court just waiting for copies. It was pretty chaotic there.

After we got our copies, upstairs we went to the 5th floor to take care of other business. Flor strikes up a conversation with the lady as she makes copies of case files. She goes on to tell us that Adriana is the talk of the court house because everyone knows about the “secret” petition. They don’t like Adriana because of what she is doing to you. They keep talking about me and how I keep fighting for you despite everything Adriana has done. That I am not the typical father in Mexico. They are proud of me for what I am doing for you. It was nice to hear that. They also knew that Adriana claims I have NEVER given her any money to support you, yet there she was in court with Maria Guadalupe picking up your money every month.

So, I decided to venture off the beaten path today. I took the train down to Mexico today. In fact I am at the Santa Fe Depot in downtown San Diego waiting for the last train to take me home. It was fun. No stress. No traffic. The only drawback is that I would have liked to spend more time with Alfredo. With the unpredictability of the border line and couple that with the train schedule I needed to keep, it made it difficult. I will see Alfredo again soon. In the meantime, I hope to get some news from the judge about our visits in the next few days.

Hoping this does not sound cliché, I miss you terribly Sam. I went through all of the pictures I have of you. There are hundreds of pictures. You made me laugh quite a bit as I reminisce. You are a funny girl Sweetheart. I LOVE YOU!
