Friday, August 7, 2015: Today marks the 5-year anniversary when Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel), Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) and a friend had me ambushed by the Tijuana Police Department and thrown into the infamous La Mesa Prison. That experience opened a lot of people’s eyes to who Adriana really is. It also showed what she is willing to do to eliminate me. That was a day where I thought the only way I was coming back home to California was in a body bag. Period.

The other day I talked with another Left Behind Parent. His wife took his boys and fled to Mexico 2 1/2 years ago. One thing is for certain, all these abducting parents follow the same script. It’s the Parental Abduction Playbook as I like to call it. Its uncanny how the the timing of all the carnage parental child abductors create. It’s all the same! I was ambushed and thrown into La Mesa Prison a little over 18-months into my ordeal. 18-months into this LBP’s ordeal, his wife ambushed him and had him thrown in jail as he was walking out of a court date in which his she was a no-show. That’s crazy. I can give you a dozen more examples of situations that are similar.

The laws against parental abduction are very clear. International law recognizes it as well. In fact they go even further to state that parental abduction is child abuse. As it should be. These child abductors are acting out of desperation. Desperation for what? Only the abductors themselves can tell you. No matter how our cases turn out, these sorry excuses for parents will have a lot of explaining to do to their own kids. And that will not go well.

  1. For those of us closest to you, like myself, this was the worst day. When we heard this news there was never a doubt that you did nothing to deserve being thrown in jail. We knew it was a setup from the get go. Bad memories of this day. I am sorry that whatshername still hasn’t paid the piper for her crimes. We eagerly await karma. It’s a bitch.
