Friday, September 11, 2009: Holy cow Sam, yesterday makes 10-months since Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) and Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) had abducted you. 10-months! I did not forget to write like I have usually done. Today is another anniversary to an event that changed Americans and the World. It will be interesting to read what your history books will say about September 11, 2001. We now call this day Patriot Day in the United States. Not only do we honor those who passed, but we pat tribute to the hundreds of people who saved thousands of lives that day. I have friends from New York. One guy lived a few blocks from “Ground Zero”. The pictures he has from his apartment building that morning are absolutely chilling. He took them right before the windows were blown out when the Twin Towers fell and his place was filled with debris. Another friend was a New York City firefighter. He retired from the department early and moved to San Diego. He was part of the recovery effort at “Ground Zero”. It took a couple years to even ask about what that day was like for him. His stories are harrowing to say the least.
Suffice it to say the last couple of days have been somber for me. I miss you my Little Princess! I will be in Mexico Monday to meet with Alicia and Carlos. I am hoping to see you when I am there. I have not talked to Adriana about that yet because none of her 3 phones work at the moment. I have no idea what is going on with the phones. This is nothing new for her. Suffice it to say, we have a lot to do. I really can’t wait until this is over. I love you Samy! Many KISSES!
