Sunday, June 26, 2011: Hi Sam! Thank you for the cookies! They came in handy as I was sitting in line to cross the border back to San Diego this afternoon. I am so sorry the weekend had to end. I have never gotten used to seeing the disappointment on your face when it’s time for me to go. We were lucky because we had spent the entire weekend in Ensenada. I don’t know what to think sometimes. I know you would love nothing more than to have your mom and dad together. I also understand you don’t really know what has been going on these last 3-years which adds to your frustration. To make matters worse, I am not sure what you are being told when I am not around. Unfortunately I have no control over that. The bottom line for me has always been that actions are 100-times louder than words. So far Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) actions are always a complete opposite of what she says.

Adriana cannot stop talking about things she has done since “we left you”. Her way to justify your abduction, “we left you”. I cringe every time I have heard it. The trips she took to Montreal (to start her prostitution business), Dominican Republic, Mazatlan, Mexico City and so on. Let’s compare that to the hell I have been through these last three years. Just curious, where does someone like Adriana get the money for all these trips when she has none?

That being said, I am a little worried that our meeting on Tuesday with Adriana’s attorney, Oscar Ivan Diaz Gomez, will get rescheduled. She seems to think the meeting is on Monday when it’s really on Tuesday. I don’t know how they could have messed this up given we were all standing next to one another comparing calendars at the time. Stay tuned.

On a positive note, I absolutely live to see you happy Sam. That is what this weekend was about. Seeing you completely trust me in a swimming pool, to watching you enjoy carnival rides, to riding a play train around the harbor and yes even giving Dad a whiff of your armpits. It’s all about seeing you happy. I LOVE YOU SAM! Stay strong my Princess.
