Thursday, July 24, 2014: The term Left Behind Parent may not sound like much to those who are not familiar with the term. To the parent who is left behind after the other parent abducts a child it’s the three ugliest words in the English language. Or any language for that matter. When Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) had concocted this elaborate scheme with Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) to take Samantha away from me and steal everything out of my house, I became the epitome a Left Behind Parent.

Parents in this position miss a lot of milestones: birthdays, holidays, school events, etc. While with help of an enabling family (Danny Howitt (AKA Daniel Duncan Howitt, Elizabeth Farquhar Duncan, Kenneth Duncan), Emma Howitt, Gordon Sinclair, and Shona Howitt-Sinclair (AKA Shona Howitt, Shona Sinclair, Owner of the Commercial Hotel in Cuminestown, Scotland)) and home wrecking boyfriend (Isaias Palomeque (AKA Isaias Uzziel Palomeque, Isaias Palomeque Vergara, Project Manager at DJO Global)) Adriana continue to do what ever they could to ensure Samantha never knows about the other half of her identity.

A couple days ago I had a birthday. Granted I stopped really giving a shit about them after I turned 30, however realizing the mark my birth left on the rest of the world, why not make it a personal holiday? My birthdays are bittersweet, even now almost 6-years after Samantha’s abduction. While I have learned to be a forward thinking guy, never looking back with regrets, it’s hard not to look back with amazement at the incredible roller coaster ride this situation had become. I wonder how I survived it. On one particular birthday, I spent it having to travel to Mexico and deal with the incident that lead me to spending time in a Mexican prison for no reason. The 4th anniversary of that horrific date is coming up. We will revisit the details of it then.

So, 11-months later, here I am traveling to Mexico to deal with this situation, on my birthday, all because Adriana lost a Supreme Court decision regarding the abduction of Samantha. In a cruel twist of irony, Adriana herself called me on my cell phone as I drove down to the border that day to wish me a “Happy Birthday”. I suppose if Adriana is crazy enough to abduct her own daughter and steal things that are not hers, I suppose calling me to wish me a “happy birthday” as I was heading down to Mexico to clean up another mess she created after having me thrown into a Mexican prison for no reason, is not much of a stretch.

Recently though, my little girl telling me the other day that we are the same age (she is 8-years old) because 4+4=8 (I turned 44), that would turn any doting Dad into mush. Which it did.

I LOVE YOU SAM!
